Sugar is primarily sourced through a network of suppliers from the fertile regions of Brazil and Thailand , known for their ideal tropical climates and rich soils. Sustainable farming practices and advanced refining techniques are used to produce sugar that meets global standards of quality and safety, preserving the natural essence of the cane throughout the process.
Brazil is the world's largest producer and exporter of sugar, accounting for approximately 20% of global production and over 40% of global exports. Thanks to its vast land area and tropical climate, sugar cane thrives across the country. Originally introduced by the Portuguese nearly five centuries ago, sugar cane has become one of Brazil's largest agricultural products by both volume and value.
Around 60-70% of Brazil's sugar production is exported annually, making it a key player in the international market. Today, sugar cane is responsible for nearly 80% of global sugar production, with Brazil at the forefront of this vital industry.
Sugar cane is one of Thailand’s largest agricultural products and has its origins in Southeast Asia. The plant's fibrous stalks are rich in sucrose, which is extracted and processed into the raw sugar commonly found on the market. Today, Thailand ranks as the second-largest sugar exporter in the world, just behind Brazil.
Since 2010, the Thai government has promoted the shift from rice farming to sugar cane cultivation to meet growing global demand.
